Data Saving

By making your Registration, you assent that we electronically save data about you and that we anonymously analyse them if it is adequate and possible. In order to keep offering AupairHunter´s high quality, we compare the data provided by you with other data which are available on the internet. This enables us to identify unwanted entries (entries which have been made for fun, agencies, people smugglers etc.). However, AupairHunter does not make a guarantee for a certain quality of the entries.  Information collected by AupairHunter is securely stored by physical and electronic means.

Personal Contact Data

We collect information from guests and members during the registration and payment processes and, occasionally, at other times. Data collected by AupairHunter will not be sold or rented on an individual basis to independent third parties without your knowledge or permission. By accepting the AupairHunter Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge and grant permission to AupairHunter to use your Personal Contact Information as specifically stated under Uses of Personal Contact Information, herein.

Search engines may index publicly available information from your profile that is searchable by anyone on the Internet. Search engines do not have access to any personal contact Information contained in your profile. This is available only to paid members of the AupairHunter. 

Personal Contact Data is defined as:  names, email address, phone number or physical street address. 

The Personal Contact Data you provide in your profile is made available on AupairHunter web site only to registered clients and by mutual agreement. No guarantees are made regarding the legitimacy of the claims of those who have paid for membership to access Personal Contact details; although AupairHunter will validate details which will be cross referenced with client’s details, including e-mail address.  It is also recommended that Members do not advance funds overseas to Au Pairs. 

With your Registiration of AupairHunter you may view, modify or delete your Personal Contact Information at any time.  The information you provide during Registration may also be used to enable us to process, validate and verify services or Membership purchases.  

We also may use personally identifiable information about you to deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests, such as news, updates, promotions, e-mail notifications. You may opt out of receiving any such automated information services at any time by modifying your account preferences. We reserve the right to contact any member at any time regarding membership renewals or other membership-related problems or questions.  AupairHunter may be obliged to disclose personal contact information to assist law enforcement, prevent fraud or assist in crime prevention.

Use of Data

The data you provide during registration may also be used to enable us to process, validate and verify services or membership purchases. We may also provide advertisers with aggregate - never individual - information about our member base and usage patterns. We may also use aggregated information to develop new features and services to better meet Member needs.

Internally we may use aggregated and personally identifiable information to improve our marketing efforts, to statistically analyze site usage, to improve our content and product offerings as well as to customize our site's content and layout. We believe these uses allow us to improve our site and better tailor your online experience to meet your needs.

We also may use personally identifiable information about you to deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests, such as AupairHunter, updates, promotions, new registrations, newsletter, or questionnaires about our services, or email notifications, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to contact any Registered client  any time regarding membership renewals or other membership-related products or questions.

Access to Personal Data  

Our system protects our clients Personal Data by only giving access to certain members. This means that only by mutual agreement and under your consent, your Personal Contact Data will be shown.

When someone has interest in you, it is your choice to answer back yes interest or no interest.  Only the ones that you have chosen, meaning that both parties have interest in each other, the personal data line opens for all members.  

A very limited number of persons will have access to all your personal data and reduces that  who is not interested, nor needs your personal details, will not access them. 

Delete

At any time you can cancel your service of receiving information from us by email such as newsletters or just update information.  If you wish to cancel this service and not receive any more emails from us, pls  send us an email with your indications to support@aupairhunter.com and we will delete your data immediately from our list.

Data Protection

Cookies 

We employ cookie technology to help members move faster through our site. When a member signs up with Aupairhunter may pass a cookie to that user's computer. A cookie is a string of information that's sent by a web site and stored on your hard drive or temporarily in your computer's memory. This avoids the potentially time-consuming task of entering your user name and password each time a page is requested.

Research
We also may conduct occasional online surveys. If you choose to participate, you'll be prompted to answer a series of online questions. Your responses are confidential and will be used for statistical analysis only; no information on an individual's preferences will be shared with any outside organization.
